What we’re looking for: good working knowledge of psychrometrics and load calculation, with a small amount of equipment and system design thrown in.

Who it’s for: junior engineers who are progressing but have not yet obtained their PE license, or come from a background where getting the PE is not feasible at this level of experience.

What we’re looking for: solid knowledge in psychrometrics and load calculation, but with more emphasis on understanding HVAC equipment and system design. 

Number of questions: 60

Who it’s for: mid-level engineers who still have not yet obtained their PE license, or who are not able to given their educational background. 

What we’re looking for: a broad knowledge of day-to-day HVAC equipment and system design principles, with an additional category of HVAC controls. Less emphasis is place on load calculation and psychrometrics, though we keep some questions to make sure all the bases are covered.
